About the Author
Angie Oakley grew up in central London and after lots of moving around now calls the Australian beach town of Noosa Heads home. Her father was a writer and producer for BBC, and the clacking of his old Remington was such a familiar sound, she assumed that’s what everyone did. She’s since ditched the Remington for a Mac and is happy to thrust her rambling rants on anyone who happens to click on her blog: http://spryandretiring.wordpress.com (It’s not all bad, there are pictures!) Her first novel,Treading Water deals in the stuff we all care about: family, kids, decency, and what happens if we can’t protect the young from the carelessness of their elders.
